Our 2015 summer production was The Importance of Being Earnest and it was our first open-air production to go on tour!
“The truth is rarely pure and never simple. Modern life would be very tedious if it were either and modern literature a complete impossibility”
Oscar Wilde’s brilliant comedy of manners has lost none of it’s wit and sparkle since it was first performed on February 14th 1895 – fun, games and witty repartee abound in this last and most successful of Wilde’s plays. We will be performing this gem of a play in the magnificent courtyard of Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester, in the charming garden at Peartree Cottages in Tibberton and on the beautiful lawn of Hawkwood College near Stroud.
